It depends on your golfer volume and the amount of time you're willing to operate the challenge. We assume most paying golfers will participate (2 free shots - who wouldn't?) - therefore, we can estimate expected income based on average weekly golfer volume & participation. More participation = more profit.
Between all sources of revenue, we conservatively project these annual course incomes (your profit), based on 6 month season (May - Oct):
Avg 400 - 500 participants / week (minimum): $42,000 - $53,000 / season
Avg 500 - 600 participants / week: $52,000 - $64,000 / season
Avg 600 - 700 participants / week: : $61,000 - $73,000 / season
Avg 700 - 800 participants / week: $71,000 - $82,000 / season

With increased NOI, course value should rise by approx. 8x multiple of new income gained (assuming 12-13% cap rate)
On the driving range, ideally at the corner tee box closest to clubhouse (for easiest access & most participation).
A small green (approx. 20ft diameter) will be installed (100 - 110 yards to pin). There will be an employee-operated station (tent, table, signage, equipment) behind the tee box.
This challenge will be an attraction for golfers and draw in more demand for your course. We don't want to overcrowd the challenge area, course facilities, or parking lot by allowing the general public. However, this decision comes down to course preference.
Want to make the challenge available to the public on certain days or for special occasions/weddings/events? You have the freedom to choose who can play and what days/times to operate - as long as challenge rules are followed.
Buildout of Green: We compensate you with a one-time start up payment to install a small green (grass or turf), approx. 20ft diameter. We assume the tee area is already present on the driving range.
Already have green(s) on your driving range? Great! Even if they aren't exactly 100-110 yards out or 20ft diameter, we can work with what you have (if reasonably close) and adjust challenge metrics accordingly.
Equipment: We supply everything needed to operate this challenge (picture on homepage). Station equipped with: tent, table, signage, tablet for challenge operation & payment processing, cameras (to ensure integrity of challenge), etc
Operating Expenses: Course has zero operating expenses. Staffing will be addressed in next question.
You (golf course) will staff the challenge with your own employees - but we provide hourly compensation for challenge operation (at agreed upon hourly rate).
This is a simple system to implement and only takes one employee to operate. We'll provide training, simple technology, and clear operating procedures/guidelines.
We'll make bulk purchases from your Pro Shop - and supply you with our company credit cards (or open a credit account with you) for on-spot purchases to supply inventory as needed.
This staffing structure is meant to offer you control, freedom, & peace of mind that the challenge won't negatively effect your course atmosphere or customer service standard.
Due to the specific structure of our challenge - no, this is NOT considered gambling. We've done extensive legal research and structured the challenge in a way that ensures full compliance with state rules/regulations, Michigan Gaming Control Board, and USGA.
As a "tenant" of your course and a separate entity, we take all legal risk away from your course.
Although there is a hole-in-one "Jackpot," it's technically just "course credit." There is no payment to the participant at all. The prize amount is redeemable only in the form of pro shop credit, rounds, or yearly memberships - driving more revenue and loyalty to your course.
Fair question! Without our course partners, we cannot exist. This necessity drove us to build a partnership model that is uniquely and massively beneficial to you.
Our structure ensures that golf courses spend less, risk less, and manage less than any attempt to run a challenge in-house. In exchange for your valuable space and partnership, we guarantee you will receive the majority of the generated profit. That was our goal from day one.
You have the freedom to operate the challenge as much or little as you'd like, as long as rules are followed and minimum time/participant volume is met. There is no maximum - more is better!
Minimum Operation Requirements: 16 hours per week OR expected 400 participants per week
Example A: ABC Golf Club averages 160 golfers/day on weekends, and has busy Tues/Thurs league nights. They run the challenge Sat/Sun 11am - 7pm, and Tues/Thurs 3pm - 7pm
Overall 24 hours / expected 500 - 650 golfers/week. Course profit = $9k - 11k/month
Example B: ABC Golf Club has busy weekends, but wants to incentivize more tee times on slow weekdays. They run the challenge Mon-Fri 12 - 7pm, and it fills up like the weekends.
Overall 35 hours / expected 600 - 700 golfers/week. Course profit = $10k - $12k/month
If any balls land on green, the green must be cleared ONLY in between participant turns. We assume your employee will have cart access to drive out, hold up a big "STOP HITTING" sign, and quickly clear the green as needed.
Statistically, most balls won't land on the small green - so this won't need to happen between every turn.
Ricochet balls do not count as a hole-in-one.
